How Backbridge Works

Progressive Extension to Customize The Level of Stretch

Whether suffering from upper, middle, or lower back pain, you are able to target the area of pain and stretch and release pain through the 5 stackable levels.

Start at a level that is easy and comfortable for you and then progress through the different levels continually adding more stretch and extension to your body.

You’ll find that through progressive extension, you will realign the spine, perfect your posture, and eliminate pain.

How To Use The Backbridge

The Backbrige allows you to gradually increase your back flexibility by adding levels of the arch.

No matter what level you are using, when lying on the support tool extend both of your hands above your head allowing a back stretch and chest opening to undo the day of hunching. You can also place your hands behind your head, across your chest or alongside your body. Start with 30 seconds a day and gradually increase to two minutes a day. When your time is complete, roll to your side and slowly come up to a sitting position.

3 Weeks of Stretching To Prevent Future Pain and Improve Posture

The Backbridge extension is one of several stretches you can do.  You lie back so that the highest point of the Backbridge is between your shoulder blades and your head touches the floor.  Rest your arms behind your head and hold this stretch for 2 minutes. After a few weeks, slowly progress to the next level (2-5).

Back Pain Epidemic

Back Pain & Poor Posture

One of the leading causes of back pain is poor posture and alignment. People are sitting for hours hunched over our computers, smart phones (“tech neck”); sitting for hours on long commutes, or just having trouble resisting gravity as they age.

Sitting exerts 30% more pressure on your spine than standing.  It is estimated that 54% of Americans with lower back pain spend the majority of their day sitting at a desk.
